Nallei-Jerring Leadership Project
Target Audience: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people aged between 13-15 years who live within local government areas across Victoria’s West.
Nallei-Jerring (join and unite) Koori Youth Leadership Project aims to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander young people aged between 13-15 years across Victoria’s West.
Nallei-Jerring is a targeted program that works with Indigenous youth to build connections and strengthen their self-understanding of culture and identity.
Nallei-Jerring is delivered through a variety of interactive and cultural workshops that are delivered by Western Bulldogs Community Foundation staff, in collaboration with community agencies and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders. These workshops aim to improve participants’ leadership skills, employability and bring them closer to their Indigenous heritage.
