Youth Leadership Project
Target Audience: Young people aged 14-16 who live within local government areas across Victoria’s West.
The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s Youth Leadership Project offers unique opportunities for young people to build confidence, make new friends and develop skills that will enable them to become leaders in their community.
The Youth Leadership Project guides participants through practical and theory-based activities designed to enhance participant’s capacities in; leadership, teamwork, communication, goal setting and resilience, empowering them to contribute and grow.
Our program has over participants annually and thanks to research completed by Victoria University we know that young people that are involved have rewarding and positive experiences. They formed strong connections with other participants and felt more confident within themselves.
The Youth Leadership Project is delivered with the help of local councils, health and community services and other not-for-profit organisations and is delivered from the heart of Footscray to Ballarat and beyond.
